Pretty standard WC APA with all the classic elements of the style. Quite pungent hop bill with good balance but finished dank. Tasty stuff, would drink again.

This beer pours an amber gold with a nice head that goes away rather quickly. The aroma is citrus and bready malts. The taste is citrus and melon with a nice hop bite that is not too strong, though the hop flavor is a little strong for a Pale Ale (NW flavor?). Very refreshing and goes well with food. 12oz can from Boise Co-op. Golden pour, light cloudiness, small foamy white head. Aroma brings a very light citrusy hoppiness taste backs that up with some nice pale, bready malts. Mildly sweet, and a lingering bitter buzz.

a really nice pale ale, made by its simplicity and freshness, a fine pint for pairing with a spicy noodle bowl for lunch, i was impressed by the lightness of the malt, the brightness of the hops, and the overall tidiness this presents with, the best buoy beer i have had in my limited experience with their stuff, or darn close to it. no darker than golden in the glass, sunny and clear, short average white head on it, but lots of rising carbonation. the nose to me hints at citra hops, but i dont know what they make this with, lemongrass and key lime nuance, a little grassy, very fresh, but this cant all be citra, its more layered and dynamic than that, which can be monotone a bit on its own, very modern, very fruity without being a juice bomb, maybe a little pils malt crackery thing in the grain base for character, but lightness is retained in the balance, no crystal malt in here counteracting bitterness, just less beer than that in this glass. the flavor is really good too, mostly dry hopped it seems, as bitterness is low and the hops start early, the nose just bleeds into the taste, brisk in texture too which rules, to light in body and bubbly, as refreshing as it is flavorful, uncommon even. there is a juiciness to this, a light oiliness from the hops that i like, light weed, melon, and tangerine, but very low bitterness, incredibly easy drinking, peppy carbonation the whole way, dry, and uniquely minimal too. just fantastic contemporary pale ale, perhaps a new favorite from these guys for me!

12oz can
Pours a finger of white head into my can-style glass. Retention is subpar and the head fades somewhat quickly. Initial lacing looks pretty good. Body is pale yellow, crystal clear, with a moderate amount of bubbles coming up. Looks ok so far.
Nose is bursting with notes of passion fruit, mango, and melon. Smells very bright, crisp, and refreshing.
Flavor isn't quite that big, but still pretty nice. Mango and melon come through well enough. Pretty significant floral notes develop over time.
Carbonation is somewhat high. Body is quite light. Bitterness is medium-low. Sweetness is very low. A very serviceable mouthfeel.
Drinkability is wonderful. This is light, crisp, and refreshing.
Appearance turned out pretty poor, zero lacing.
Overall a pretty nice pale. Definitely more on the "sunshine" side of things, but nothing wrong with that at all. Good to note that this is an entirely different beer out of the glass, not even worth drinking out of the can. The aroma surely does a lot of work.

Good looking pour, clear and clean. Finger of light colored head, fruity aroma. Taste is very well balanced between a pleasant hopiness with light tropical fruit notes along with citrus. Malt is in the background. The beer is in solid APA territory. Could use a notch higher carbonation as it is just a shade on the flat side. This would be an excellent beer for those warm summer afternoons. Very refreshing.

Clear amber brew with adequate foam in the snifter. Interesting lemony aroma and flavor. I think of that Lousisiana Crunch Cake only not so sweet. This is a little sweet, though, for a Pale Ale. Fairly bitter aftertaste.
Thoroughly quaffable. Perhaps lacking in a more elegant carbonation, but it's spritzy enough to gulp. Still, that perfumey peach and citrus flavor is appealing. From the 12 oz can purchased at the beer store. Dated 09/08/21 on the bottom.
