Strong, rich, and malty, Helles Bock embraces the strength of a bock and the lightness of a helles. This traditional deep gold lager balances the biscuity malt aromas with floral hop notes.

According to the website this beer is only available in 12oz cans and on tap. This is a 19.2 tall boy. It pours a rich golden color and fairly clear. The aroma is light malt and floral hops. The mouthfeel is light to medium. The taste is light biscuity malt and a mild bitterness all the way through. Good beer, though don't remember having this style of beer before. Rated 6-16-2023

Look: Medium, almost burnt orange in the glass and my pour kicks off a nice white head that swells up and settles somewhat quickly to a lid, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Freshly baked and warm bread, raw dough, floral hops, lightly toasted bread crust, pilsner malt, and biscuits
Taste: Opens up with a combo of rich and deep bread-driven malt and floral hops that each shine briefly on their own before relenting to each other and mixing well. Star jasmine, tea olive, and spirea most noticeable in the floral mix. Dough and biscuits come to life in the middle and mingle before swaths of bready notes and flowers return to close it out
Mouthfeel: Full, clean, medium-high carbonation, and clean and slightly soft on the finish
Overall: This is a delicious Maibock. I love this style of beer and a fine example like this reminds me of why; malt forward with a ton of depth, kisses of floral hops, and raw dough coming together in fine fashion. A tasty and well-made example of the style and one I recommend and will continue to purchase while it’s available

Can from The Beermongers.

A clear light amber with a dense, white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is solid. Bready, creamy, mildly sweet with raisins, honey, toasted bread. Super fresh malt profile here. A touch sweeter than typical, but it works. The palate opens mildly bitter with a leafy, earthy hop profile to go with the prodigious malt character. Fresh baked bread, dough, fresh honey, mildly sweet. Drying, mildly toasty on the finish. Sweet raisins and a moderate bready note are present. Great stuff.

a fantastic brew, fuller feeling but still crisp, sturdy and old worldy, drinkable though, brightly carbonated, packed with pale european malt character. clear deep honey to light rust in color, an inch of pure white head on it, big bubbles, looks great. the nose is a little sweeter than the taste, a baked up front richness, lightly floral from the hops, and with a lager yeast strain thats fresh, bready, and somewhat robust. im impressed with how clean this is on the swallow, before that its layers of graham cracker, lightly toasted malt, definitely a german earthiness here, and its got a bigger mouthfeel thats consistent with the style, but never feels heavy because of the high carbonation and the way it dries out at the end. a little floral thing from the hops before they get bitter on the swallow, and a lot of fermentation character, which together give this some needed depth and balance. very enjoyable brew, hearty but drinkable, on the money in terms of abv for me in this style too, great pace to this, seems right on for springtime too. impressive offering from a quality standpoint, especially because i have been a little bit hit or miss on their beers that have made it to idaho so far, it was great to check out their temporary taproom, all the beers were a level up compared to what i had known from them before!
