Dank, tropical, and perfectly balanced, Buoy's West Coast IPA is a fresh take on the classic West Coast style. This batch is brewed with Simcoe, Mosaic, and El Dorado hops, delivering bold resinous and fruit-forward aromas. A soft malt sweetness plays perfectly against a crisp hop bitterness, creating a beer that's as timeless as it is modern—a true new classic for IPA lovers.

This beer pours a golden color with a medium head. The aroma is citrus and hops. The taste is citrus and a mild to strong bitterness and no real bite. Very good WC IPA.

BUOY BREWERY- Rotating Series West Coast IPA - 6.6 abv
Pours a gold colored semi cloudy look with a wonderful floral fruity smell.
Taste is a mixture of hops, pineapple melon rind and enough tannins to balance the fruit present so it refreshing and really wonderful. I highly recommend this beer. Hops are Simcoe, Mosaic and El Dorando.

Look: Burnt orange and clear on the pour with a lofty white head that calms to a pillow and leaves great lacing behind
Aroma: Pink grapefruit, tangelos, blueberry, pine, navel orange, crushed fir needles, Cannabis, strawberries, candied lemon, and bready malt. This smells great
Taste: Pine sap, crushed pine needles, and grapefruit flesh and rind hit hard with a pithy and borderline tongue-scraping punch that quickly mellows and starts to develop. Waves of fir, dank, berries, and more citrus trickle in with each one shining before joining the fold. Closes with pine, citrus, and Cannabis, along with a nice, big bite
Mouthfeel: Full, slick, clean, medium-high carbonation, and moderately dry on the finish
Overall: This is some tasty stuff. I love what these folks do and this pink-highlighted can caught my attention recently so was anxious to try it and it didn’t let down. A really delicious and well-made WCIPA that has a newer-school flavor profile but still some classic old-school feel. Citrusy, piney, dank, plenty of berries, a bold bite, and dry finish make it a treat and winner in my book. I’ll be buying plenty of this while it’s around and would recommend it too

Nice pour, unfiltered look, thick head. Nose is grapefruit with a bit of dankness. Taste has the hops dialled in just right - plenty of flavor and bitterness without being overly harsh. Long finish, a hint of hop bite at the end. Good feel and durable carbonation. Just 6.6% ABV. Recommended.

12 oz can from Safeway in West Salem OR.
$10.00 a sixer.
Pours the expected light copper/orange body. Crystal clear, with a large frothy white head. Generous lace thereafter.
Aromas of pine and floral hope. Right in your face. Strong.
Taste the same. Maybe with a particle of citrus.
Nice mouth feels thick to medium but well carbonated. Each sip invites another.
Pretty darned good, but they have tough competition in Oregon for sure.
