Brewed in collaboration with Zoiglhaus Brewing Co., our Festbier is crafted with heirloom German malts and balanced with Kazbek and Hallertau hops. This crisp, full-bodied lager boasts flavors of freshly baked bread, aromas of biscuit, honey, and floral notes, with a hint of bitterness and a clean finish. Lift your stein and shout "Prost!" to embrace the Oktoberfest season!

Look: Medium orange and nearly clear on the pour with a sudsy white head that settles to a lid and leaves good lacing behind
Aroma: Raw bread dough, freshly baked bread, lightly toasted crust, floral hops, and warm biscuits
Taste: Starts off with a slightly sweet floral bouquet reminiscent of nectar that swirls for a moment before the bready notes come into play. Rich, bready malt and some biscuit carry as the floral components continue to dance around through the close
Mouthfeel: Full, clean, medium-high carbonation, and clean, smooth, and crisp on the finish
Overall: This is some good stuff. I didn’t know this was a collab until I’d bought it but I dig both of these breweries and this beer came together nicely. Lots of bready malt but also plenty of floral hops, which fits the Festbier tag. Tasty, well-made, and recommended

Had this beer today at The Zed, which is the Zoiglhaus brewery and pub. This beer pours a nice golden color with a small head. The aroma is quite mellow, no specific flavor other than the malt. Taste is slightly bitter and sweet with biscuity notes and a clean crisp finish. Easy drinking and very good taste. Rated 11-8-2024

Pours an effervescent & bright gold with 2 fingers of beige colored head. Average-ish head retention & lacing
S: Bready/grainy, grassy notes, perfumy hops show up as this beer warms up
T: Bready, a bit dry with soapy & grassy hops up front. Sweet breadyness, some grainy notes, lemony & grassy hops as this beer warms through. Finishes with sweet breadyness, some grassy hops & dryness, a touch of lemon & white grape as well
MF: Medium body, fairly soft carbonation, good balance
Nails the style, very good drinkability

16 oz. can from a 4-pack purchased from American Market, State Street, Salem. OR.
$11.99.
Pours a lovely deep golden coloured body with a slightly frothy white head. Looks the part!
Good malty aroma. Warm bread and biscuits.
Taste similar to nose but has a slight noble hop character near the end of the mouthful.
Good clean palate. Well carbonated and not sticky.
A nice fest bier. Somewhere between the lighter fest style and the heavier Marzen.

Canned 9/11/24. This beer is a collaboration with one of our favorite breweries, Zoiglhaus. Deep golden amber, the right amount of carbonation. Very smooth, a slight bit of sweetness, all-together a fine lager.
