Our French Pilsner begins with herbal and floral aromas, with hints of lemon on the nose, unfolding into bready and honey notes with a touch of spiciness. Traditionally a malt-forward pilsner, this lager sets itself apart from its Italian and German counterparts. Made with Jehanne D'arc Pilsen malts and Strisselspalt and Elixir hops from the hop-growing region of Alsace, it's a taste of France right here in Astoria.

Look: Light bronze and nearly clear with a nice-looking head that recedes to a lid and leaving nice lacing behind
Aroma: Straw, soda crackers, freshly baked biscuits, floral hop notes, cereal grains, and fresh rainfall
Taste: Opens up with fresh rainfall and floral hops that bring magnolia, silverberry, and daylily to the table. The malt starts to show up next with waves of straw, biscuits, and heated grains and these go back and forth with the hops through the close
Mouthfeel: Light, clean, medium-high carbonation, and crisp and clean on the finish
Overall: This is a good one. Another iteration of a Pilsner from these folks is A-okay with me and like the others, brings its own unique aroma/flavor profile to the table, while still staying in the Pilsner lane. More grains and biscuit in this, along with what I can only describe as freshly fallen rain. Good stuff

Rated 9-24-2024. This beer pours a clear light golden with a minimal head that doesn't last too long. Aroma is lemon and bready malts with some sweetness. It also has a lot of carbonation bubbles. The taste is lemon with some sweet bitterness and bready malts throughout. BOD 8-16-2024. 25 IBUs

Canned 8/16. Crystal-clear...you could read a newspaper through the glass. Can says the hop and malt bill is 100% French! Aroma is subtle. Just a whiff of yeast with a floral accent. Taste is a mild, but worthy, bitterness supported by a pleasant malt-forward base. Dry taste, modestly carbonated. Just 5% ABV. Absolutely NO adjuncts.

12oz can from Homebrewstuff. Bright, clear golden pour, diminishing white foamy head. Soft, bready aroma, grassy. Taste is malty, biscuity, crisp with a dry finish. Medium weight feel.
