Named in celebration of the amazing women in agriculture who make local beer possible, Dirty Girl IPA is a West Coast leaning IPA that features 5 hop varieties lending big citrus and bitter pine characteristics to the medium malt backbone’s subtle sweetness. This is our flagship IPA that we have been brewing since we opened in 2014.

New to the store. Fresh One month old 4-pack. Wasn't what I expected, Fruited like a sour. Not bad. I'll finish the four pack.

Dirty gold color and nearly clear. The head is modest but the thin film layer lasts throughout the tasting. Some initial ring lace followed by vertical streaks.

Amber ale aroma of semisweet caramel, some earthiness, and very, very light hop. A dramatic departure from the expected aromas of a West Coast IPA.

The taste is marked improvement. There's still the semisweet caramel base but the hop is far more pronounced. The body is fuller but the carbonation is also quite elevated. The finish is well balanced while the neutral hop bitterness lingers throughout the longer aftertaste.

We were at this brewery before but somehow didn't try this one - and this is my now my favorite west coast IPA. They do call it "west coast leaning" which is accurate because it is not as bitter as they usually are. And I have gotten tired of bitter. This one has a smooth finish, but all the hops and color of a great West Coast IPA - superb! MY TOP FAV WEST COAST IPA

An essentially perfect pour. It doesn't break the mold but it is a perfect expression of the style.

Described as a fuve hop varietal with "big citrus, bitter pine, and medium malt".

The citrus combines with the malt in a very satisfying way, if you have a sweey tooth.

Canned 11/14/17

Pours a light fluffy head that fades at a quicker pace, a little lacing, semi hazy light sediment honey orange color

Nose decent hops, more old world old school hops, some citrus, a little orange zest and marmalade, little apricot preserves, faint grapefruit, some spicy earthy hops with a bit of tea and pine

Taste brings fruit again out front, fruity hops with mild citrus, apricot and tangerine preserves, a little grapefruit pith but very little, some rind notes, hops then turn a bit earthy herbal and tea like, but also very spicy and chewy like especially on the finish, malts are mild a little amber malt, long bitter spicy hop finish

Mouth is med bod, a bit softer side but not much, fluffy carbonation

Overall not bad, old world big spicy hop IPA with some citrus and fruit, and quite bitter without much balance.

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Kappy's in Norwell for about twelve dollars. I have never heard of or seen this brew before. Decent IPA, dank, with hints of pine. Would drink again, but not seek out.
