Tried the newest in the Hoppy Valley series on tap at the brewery tasting room. Really nice light caramel color. The use of Pioneer Valley Malts is a presence in the color, but not much in the taste, compared to Hoppy Valley II. This is definitely all about the taste of the Cascade hops, which leave a pleasant bitterness behind on the palate, but not much in the nose. Mouthfeel is spot-on for an IPA and the finish is dry and leaves you wanting another sip. A nice IPA, especially if you like them on the bitter side.

Local Valley Malt and local Cascade hops, high 60's to low 70's IBUs, solid ipa from this funky mill building upstart in Easthampton,MA. Had on draft on their tasting room about a week after Hoppy Valley IIIs release
