This beer I got filled directly from the brewery in a Crowler, then went back and refilled Yum.
A= Very good color, slightly hazy and you immediately notice the nice steady head and brussels lace on the side of my glass, the color is straw.
S= Tropical and fruity hops come through right away, great balance.
T= The malt is the background taste but adds enough sweetness to counter the fruity and delicous tropical hop flavors that are bombing your mouth in a good way.
M= Smooth and delicious with a pleasant mouth feel, carbonation is steady but mild.
O= This is a really good representation of what an American DIPA should be. I was impressed that at 9.x% alcohol that you can't really detect it. Wow!!! Love this one thanks !!!

Enjoyed in the tasting room at the brewery after hearing rave reviews from Brewstraveler. Pours a rich amber color, with not a lot of head. The mouthfeel is silky and without an alcohol burn that could come with a 9.2% ABV beer. The taste is caramelly and malty, but with plenty of hops to balance it out. The hops are just a little on the dank/musty side, which is a good thing. The taste finishes with a bit of citrus, a nice compliment to the rest of the hop profile. Overall, a big beer done very well.

Very nice double IPA, well done! This American double IPA has become one of my favorites in New England this summer. This first batch is hop forward and well balanced.

Tasted from tasting glass at 2015 ACBF on Friday night.
A= Very slight haze (but out of a plastic tasting cup, so not 100%), head lasted, golden/amber.
S= Lemon zest citrus and earthy pine aroma.
T= Some malt sweetness, full bitterness balances the malts. Earthy hop flavors come through the strongest.
M= Nice heaviness on the tongue, medium carbonation.
O= Good American DIPA. Has balanced high hop and malt rate, no boozy flavors perceived. Will review again if I can get a bottle or a pint on tap.
