Poured from a can dated 12/17/24 purchased at the brewery.
A - Dark ruby/brown color, opaque with enough clarity too see the gentle carbonation at work. A thin offwhite cap resides during the experience.
S - Roast malts,a bit of char and cocoa. Earthy hop thread in there as well
T - A bit of coffee, char again, dark toast.
M - A bit thin in body, nice dry texture throught the experience, a quick dry finish
O - A very drinkable porter, billed as (English) in style I can support that. A solid offering that is a pleasure to drink

Canned 2020/12/03
Pours a med-smaller fizzy off-white head with moderate retention, darker cloudy molasses brown color

Nose nice brown malts, toasted biscuity brown malts with a little roast and chocolate, caramel, little toffee and some nutty aromas, little spicy hop

Taste brings rich malt, toasted biscuity brown malts again with more of that caramel and nutty toffee but not sweet, a little creamy, some chocolate and touch of roast as well, then it switches over to hops, starting a bit lighter but builds to a med spicy hop bitterness, and a bit more like med-high spicy hop bitterness on the drier finish

Mouth is med bod, a little creamy note, med to a tad higher foamy carb

Overall not bad, hop levels more like a robust porter and malt levels like a brown ale, so somewhere in that "brown porter" range seems to be about right
