Poured from a 16 oz can dated 11/3/2025 into the test glass.
A - Dark brown in color, rich frothy head to start, then a solid mocha cap for the duration. Lacing is ring after ring.
A beauty to view.
S - Espresso, dark chocolate a bit of piney hops, roasted malts.
T - Rich coffee expression, with cocoa, dark berry, roast malt, some earthy grains.
M - On point for an American Stout, not to thick, plenty of body but medium to light on the plalate. Smooth and well carbonated. Finish is dry and delightful.
O - A well executed and flavorful coffee stout. Plenty coffee forward, with a nice malt and hops balance

Canned 11/4/21

Nose is almost straight up coffee. Taste is more balanced but still coffee dominant. Deeply roasted malt, cocoa, bakers chocolate, burnt bread, biting hops, and coffee, lots and lots of coffee that linger long. The coffee is really robust at the end, dark roasted with a twang.

Pours a tan frothy semi dense 1/2 finger head with moderate retention, soapy lacing, very dark molasses brown to blackish color

Nose big coffee, fresh smooth mild nutty fruity coffee, bit of cocoa fudge mocha Java, roasted malt and little caramel, earthy spicy hop

Taste some roasted malt, fresh soft smooth coffee, little nutty, fudgey, cocoa, fair spicy hop flavor with med bitterness which is good for American stout, raw cocoa, touch of soft black malt and baking spice, a little coffee and cream, drier finish with med higher spicy hops lingering

Mouth is med bod, a bit creamy, med frothy carb

Overall nice beer, good smooth coffee, nice cocoa and roasted malt, good American stout level of hops
