From the 650 ml. bottle date 9/15/14. Sampled on March 1, 2015.
The pour is a darker amber to almost black with a cloudy appearance and a little sediment.
Sweet cereal malts are the best way for me to describe the aroma along with an earthy hop backdrop.
Medium but slightly astringent body.
A syrupy sweetness in the flavor and a keen bitterness that finishes it off. A slight grainy aftertaste. Not hard to drink.
