Industrial chic rehabbed building shared with an artisanal bread shop in a small industrial park on the west side of town. Large open taproom with service bar opposite the entrance and maybe a dozen tables and some counter seating along the perimeter. Large open-sided out building across from brewery is loaded with picnic table and could easily hold a few hundred people, as well as, patio seating in the space between the buildings. About 20 beers on tap, the IPA I tried was very nice. They sell single cans to go (my favorite thing) so I will be enjoying more later.

If you are from Austin, Portland, Seattle or Belgium and find yourself here between 5 and 9pm on a Friday night you'll swear you've found heaven. They've turned a most depressed part of Tyler into an oasis for the parched palate longing for the finest in craft on draft. I've experienced some of the best beer venues on earth now that I've been to the ever evolving Tru Vine. Bob Brewer

Visited True Vine Brewing Company during their open tap night event, 02/28/2015

Vibe - 4.75 - This place reminds me of that local secret spot that not everyone knows about. There isn't yet really a logo on the front and it still says its a body shop, what the building previously was. So it kind of has this cool secret vibe going on. The brewery is currently a bit small and cramped, especially during icy conditions when everyone wants to stay inside, but this dies down after half the night. Out back is ample room in the field for chairs and during warmer months theres a lot more live music and other local vendors selling their wares. All in all, a really cool vibe.
Quality - 5 - Their beer is really high quality and good, and the price is right. 10 dollars gets you a REALLY cool glass and 2 beers. And then its 4 bucks per two beers after that, and when you're paying only 2 bucks for something as high as 11%, that's good quality. The beers themselves were VERY tasty and you could tell from things like the mouthfeel and the masking of the alcohol that the brews themselves are of high quality.
Service - 5 - EVERYONE is friendly, no one acts like a superior beer snob and I overheard the tap man explaining the taste of certain brews to first timers who had never tried anything craft before. One of the owners came up and talked to us for an hour at a time over a beer, he was extremely friendly and you could tell how passionate he was about what they were doing.
Selection - 5 - For such a small, just starting out brewery, I was quite surprised by the selection available. Granted many of the brews were experimental, but I had the option of their flagship pale ale, a beglain sour, an imperial blonde / barleywine hybrid, a vanilla coffee porter, and oaked variant of the porter, my favorite was their imperial stout with chile pepper at 11%, super tasty, and a few other brews were available as well.

All in all, True Vine is a little place brewing up some beers with big taste. I can see these guys running really far with this thing they've got going on. I can't wait to see them expand, and I highly recommend going to one of their open tap night events if you're in the area, was a great time!
