Collaboration brew with Evil Twin Brewing and Two Roads Brewing. Icelandic Skyr was used to sour the mash, and then spiced with cumin, birch smoked sea salt and herbs.

On tap at Micro Bar in Reykjavik, Iceland.

This one pours a lighter yellow color, with a small head, and no lacing.

Smells kinda yogurty, which makes sense, since it's fermented with Skyr yogurt culture. I get some sharp lacto aromas, a little bit of citrus, and Smarties.

This is a really excellent sour. Does Gosi mean Gose in Icelandic? If it does, I wouldn't immediately peg this as a Gose, since I get no saltiness. However, I do peg this is a tasty beer. It's got a really clean sour bite to it, clean and nicely tart, with a little bit of citrus, a yogurty-ish funk, and a hint of grassy things.

This is light bodied, with a crisp and juicy mouthfeel.

Another impressive beer from these guys.

On tap at Micro Bar in Reykjavik, Iceland. Served in a tumbler glass.

Pours a mildly cloudy straw yellow-copper body, one finger white head, good retention, nice lacing. Smells of wheat, lactic acid, touch of yogurt, even a tiny bit of salt. Suspiciously much like Westbrook's version. Flavour is a bit of lemon, lactic acid, Berliner-type wheat, touch of salt, yogurt. Tartness is moderately lactic with a nice punch to it, a bit of that Sweetarts bite going on. This was a pleasant surprise. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied, crisp, plenty of tartness to make this drinker happy, good depth and balance, easy to drink. A great take on the Gose, more on the Westbrook vein than Leipzeiger. I thought this one was done quite well.
