Barcelona 24/8 2019. 33 cl bottle from La Bodeguita Mini market. Drawing of Heathen, Crazy ass, naked fellow with horns on the label.
Pours dark Maroon with a medium-sized, frothy, white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of creamy foam covering the surface of the beer. Very moderate Lacing.
Aroma is intense, sweet and boozy. Fermented dark fruits. Raisins, prunes and dades, Quite malty. Brown sugar, honey and candy-like vibe. Light notes of nuts. Sweet Liquor booziness.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, creamy and Soft texture.
Flavor is heavy sweet followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is surprisingly bitter. Lingers for a while.
Nice boozy brew. Reminds me more of a Bock than a Duppel.

Hazy brown colour, big head with long retention, creamy lace. Aroma of caramel, dried fruits, malts, chocolate. Medium body, creamy texture, good carbonation. Fruity finish. Taste of chocolate, dried fruits, spices, caramel. Just correct.
