Great beer The first drink was spectacular. An evolution in the mouth where all the complexity of the beer can be found. Before, it is necessary to smell it, a pleasure for lovers of good beer.

37.5cl green glass bottle purchased and served at Ale&Hop Barcelona for 7.20 euro. Best before: December 2017. Served into a pokal.
A: Fluffy soft-looking white head. 2cm wide.
Vibrant orange body. Clean; bereft of visible yeast/lees particulate or sediment.
It's a nice looking brew, but I note nothing unique or special about it.
Sm: Obscenely attractive. Tart fruit, Chardonnay white wine, wood barrel, mild (~3/10 in terms of intensity) sourness, a blip of clean funkiness, blonde malts, floral hop character, lemon citrus. Gorgeous.
Aromatic intensity is moderate, suggesting a nice sour blonde ale with above average acidity.
T&Mf: Delivers on the promises of the aroma. Blonde malt backbone. Obvious acidity underscores its refreshing light body, smoothness, and wetness. Sift, with a great presence on the palate.
Clean funkiness complements the mild sourness nicely, and the subtle chardonnay character coupled with the wood barrel escalates its refreshing vibe. Hop profile is pleasant and floral. Some Belgian yeasty complexity lends this some prickly spicy notes, replete with concomitant fruity esters.
A gestalt build with impressive balance. Very approachable and enjoyable. Boasts good depth of fkavour. Average flavour intensity. Above average flavour duration.
O: Why haven't I heard of this brewery? This is impressive work, displaying notable balance and high drinkability. Chardonnay doesn't overwhelm the base, and the subtlety and restraint showcased here will please discerning drinkers. Okay, it's pricey, but I immediately want to try more beers from this obviously talented brewery.
