500ml Bottle as a Christmas Gift from Fenwicks in Newcastle:
Hazy amber with a small, foamy white head that settles as a fine lacing over the surface after a minute or so.
Sweet malts with some butterscotch, a light caramel aroma & some subtle hops as well as some floral notes & a creamy base that also features some vanilla. There is a few burst of citrus in the beer & it was well balanced one but not the strongest.
Sweet malts, citrus & some of the butterscotch from the nose. There is a little bit of caramel in the mix too but this isn't as pronounced as with the smell, and other than that there isn't a whole lot going on really.
Smooth & creamy with a medium body, although the beer is a touch bland & almost seems watery in places. Overall it is a sweet beer on the palate with a mild bitter finish that is also dry.
A fairly average beer that was fairly easy to drink and the aroma was pleasant enough but it just didn’t do enough to excite me or make me remember it, & to be honest I wasn’t really expecting much else given the name of the beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
