From the small bottle, it pours a slightly hazy dark brown color with modest, though lasting, tan head that does leave lacing. The nose gets some coffee, chocolate and roasted malts - pleasant. The mouth gets some bitter chocolate, coffee and roasted malts that leaves a lingering bitterness in the mouth.
