Copenhagen 26/6 2025. 44 cl can from Systembolaget, Emporia, Hyllie. Blue can with an old Lighthouse.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a big white head. Bubbly. Disappears more of less leaving only small puddles of foam behind. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of ferreted tropical fruits with a touch of petroleum. Subtle citric notes lurking in the background. Mango and passion fruit. Lemon and lime peeking in.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oil, soft, almost flat textture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with notable bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
A quite sweet take on a Indian Pale Ale.
