I picked up a growler of this beer, which appears to be one of their standard offerings. It poured a nice dark amber, with minimal head, perhaps because the bartender did not use a fill tube, and much of the carbonation ran out the top of the jug.

The smell was sort of flowery, and the taste had some bread and fruit elements to it, with a hoppy finish.

As I said, I saw a lot of foam run out of the jug, so I suspect the mouthfeel would be different right out of the tap, but it was not flat.

I am more a fan of weizenbiers, but as an amber ale, this was good, and had strong flavor. I would not necessarily get more, as I was more impressed with the Ram, on the other end of the McConnor Parkway. They used a fill tube when they filled my growler, and preserved more of the carbonation.

(Their website refers to this as Clock Tower Lager, but the waitress and menu at the bar both referred to it as Clock Tower Amber)

Pours a pretty amber. Decent head. The lighting in this place is very nice and it adds a sheen to the beers, makes them sparkle.

Smells like a very light American malt. Simple and backed with a slight flower hop. Grainy in a good way, like corn blossoms.

Tastes like a bit of bready malt and more of the sweet flower hop in the nose. Light, crisp, simple, and enjoyable.

Nothing too much to say here. This is a solid beer that is light but still flavorful and would make for a great session beer.
