(If this beer has a name besides "Porter" my waitress didn't know it, nor did the menu or their website)
Pours ruby with a nice little brown head. Good porter pour.
Smells of VERY faint roasted malt. No complexity. Slight hints of goodness but too weak to enjoy.
Hoppy start moves into a a nice dark chocolate bitterness and a nice, balanced end of sweet malt and dry hops. A complex and solid flavor.
Nice beer, I just wish it had a bit more of an aroma.
