16oz. $4. Review from notes.
A: Pours an inky black with a slight off white head that left a good lacing behind.
S: Aromas of roasted coffee, sweet caramel or licorice with a undertone of maltiness that made me smile.
T: Tastes of roasted and smokey caramel, chocolate, and coffee with a nice dry aftertaste. Definately a good tasting American Stout.
M & D: Mouthfeel is very silky smooth on this offering. Good carbonation level. Definately a very drinkable beer coming right from the slopes. Warms you up inside. I enjoyed two of these!

On tap at the Maple Leaf; not to be confused with beer from England's excellent Dark Star Brewery.
Jet black with a minimal tan head. Moderate coffee and roast malt aroma. Malty flavour with moderate burnt, and roast notes, slightly 'chewy' with licorice in the background. More prominent licorice and roast malt finish; pleasant lingering licorice aftertaste.
Very easily drinkable, full of flavour and smooth on the palate. Yum!
