On tap 7/8/06 at the brewery.
Pour was average amber/copper with a light brown hue and a medium white small head.
Not much of a smell, but noticeable hops - more so after the first few sips. Very well balanced - but a bit lacking.
This was a decent amber - but it lacked the overall flavor that I was expecting. I was hoping for there to be a maple flavor, yes, because I was in Vermont. However, I did enjoy this beer - but would urge everyone to try some of their others over this.
Still suggest trying it - again, I would go with the maple leaf sampler.
Cheers.
