Light brown amber color with a one finger head with low retention, but leaving some laces.
Nice malty aroma with notes of caramels, red apples, light grains, maybe strawberry jam and licorice.
Flavor of caramel and toasted malts, earthy and herbal hops, mild spices, grains, oxidized apples and a bit of strawberry jam. Dry aftertaste with a mild to medium bitterness.
Light body with medium carbonation.
This is a decent malty red ale (this is not an Altbier, I guess the new label amended it), fruity and slightly hoppier than most Chilean beers giving a better balance to it. Light, but pleasant enough, I would have it again.
