32oz grunt filled for around $5 at the brewery. This was originally a summer seasonal until a certain accolade was given to it.
Poured into a Whistle Punk Brewing shaker pint glass, this was a very clear color somewhere between gold and copper, with a good sized bone white head that left lots of lace.
Citrusy, hoppy nose to this. The hops really jump out for such a light beer.
Big hop flavor up front, surprisingly so for a lager clocking in at 4.6% alcohol. There's a light, bready maltiness in the background, but it's not the dominant player. Finishes clean, but with a residual hoppiness detectable on the palate.
Light bodied, but with a more oily resiny mouthfeel that nevertheless manages to finish cleanly and crisply.
What a beer. This is something I could drink all day long on a hot day (as well as on this cold one) that still manages to deliver on the flavor department. Perry Street picked up Gold at the last GABF and it would be hard to argue against that honor after trying this beer. Great stuff!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
