Finally got over to the Delafield Brewhaus to try their barleywine after working right down the street for a couple of months. Their other beers I had were solid so I was excited to try a style that is one of my favorites. This beer did not disappoint.
A sweet tasting and smelling beer with nice whiskey notes to help compliment the maltiness. It reminded me of Central Waters Bourbon Barrel barleywine....which is a good thing since that is one of my favorite beers.
