A: On tap at the brewpub, poured into a weizen glass. Brightly colored orange-yellow hazy body, 2 fingers of bright white fluffy head that sticks around and leaves lacing most of the way down the glass.
S: Banana is the most pronounced scent, some clove
T: Vanilla and cloves comes out more in the flavor, the banana is still there but isn't as much as in the scent. Can taste the yeast as well.
M: Good carbonation, medium bodied, clean finish.
D: Refreshing and tasty on a 90 degree summer day. Went down easily.
The better of the two beers I tried at this brewpub. I think this was one of their seasonals as it did not appear on their main menu. Overall it was a nice hefe, better than others I've had recently but not as good as some of my favorites.

On tap at the brewery. Served in an appropriate tall feminine hefe glass.
Poured an ultra cloudy yellowish pale orange with a bright white, thick beautiful head. Almost looked like orange juice.
Nice pronounced vanilla/banana nose. Not much clove coming through. Yeasty esters very apparent.
Nice hearty even dose of that good ol' banana, vanilla, bubblegum, lemon-citrus & faint clove. Very malty body kept all the flavors (bold and shy) held together nicely.
Mouthfeel was good. Medium body with not as long of a finish as I was hoping for.
Drinkability was great. Very refreshing.
Overall I'd give this beer a higher rating than most other domestic hefes I've had. I believe the brewers put a bit more heart and soul into this wheat beer due to its heftiness and overall medium bodied character. A bright light in an overall dim landscape of micro hefes.

Nice looking golden orange tone. Slight ivory head holds its own for awhile before dissipating...and not before leaving some generous lace on the walls of my glass. Aroma is full of spice, wheat and banana. This beer is nicely carbonated and has a nice medium-full body. The taste is all weizen...pepper, lemon, vanilla, clove, banana, yeast, etc... Damn good stuff. I had this from a growler, but I had to share it. Next time, I don't plan on sharing the stuff.

Pours a glowing bright cloudy yellow...not much head from the growler but I had it on site and it had a nice head to it...nose is classic hefe...cloves...and a touch of lemon grass and bananas...body is on the light side of medium..taste is big on the cloves...also a whisp of wheat cracker maltiness, and a slight hit of lemon grass...
A decent hefe...slightly better than average....a nice beer to have on tap at a German style place...
