A: Appearance is a hazy gold. Head is a white, with a good thumb width. Lacing retention is fair as it held for about half the consumption of the pour.

S: The aroma is wonderful, sweet, honey, and peach. This is wet hopped with cascade and it shows.

T: Taste does not disappoint, as it is 100% of what I expected from the smell. I really get a lot of peach, some grapefruit and some citrus. It’s not over the top bitter; I’d guess around 60 IBUs.

M: Medium body and fair carbonation.

O: WOW, I’ve always felt visiting the brewpub that their beers were ok to good at best. Nothing thus far has really impressed me, until this. This is an outstanding harvest ale, to the point that for the first time I brought home a growler; I wasn’t even prepared carrying my growler with me and had to buy theirs. This holds up to some of the best harvest ales, including my favorite from Founders.

Pale dark golden. Slightly hazed. Thin bubbly off white head. Lacing is sporadic. Very nice aroma. Hop derived tangerine and grapefruit are big, which I like. Some resinous hop oils as well, but mostly bright citric aromas. I Really like the taste of this one too. Flowery and citric. But also pungent and oily. This one takes me back, to one of my first IPAs that I really liked. But I can't remember which one. But the flavor is very distinctive. Slightly grassy as well. The malts are all caramel. Perfect for this beer. Bitterness is pretty low key. Carbonation spot on. And medium bodied. ZAP = Growler Factory. Thanks my man.

They listed this at 5% ABV.

Dark mahogany color with a soft tan head...very fresh floral hop nose...botanic...medium bodied...taste is fresh soft floral hops...not extremely bitter but very tasty.

A fresh tasting hoppy brown ale that is not very bitter but brings a lot of fresh hop flower flavor to the table..very nice..I guess they gorwn their own hops along the roadside for this.
