Aged for a full year in bourbon barrels.
$7.50 for a 12oz. snifter. Unfortunately, served ice cold so head was near non-existent and needed considerable time to warm up.
A: opaque, poured with small bubble head, thin veil of head, gives way over time to bubbles on side of glass but when glass is rotated there is still a ton of carbonation trapped in the beer
S: full bourbon nose, malty, bourbon dominates, treacle, vanilla, intense
T: full-flavored, extreme malt and bourbon flavor, not a great degree of heat, I love bourbon but it seems just a bit too much, toned down once beer warmed up
M: warming, rounded, creamy, good body and mouthfeel without tons of EtOH, strong bourbon aftertaste
