Really impressed with the OBH facility and brews. While I had a flight of the GH IPA, Russian IS, Saison (all 3 a 4+ quality review imho), this one was my favorite of the day. And serving pints in a tulip glass is a great call.
Sampled from a 4oz flight, had a pint to follow it up.
Excellent golden color with not too much head (possibly a quarter inch in the glass) much lacing left behind after the finish. Carbonation throughout the entire pint glass. Not too much to smell although i did pick up a little mango and pine a little bit.
Taste wise; wow! This beer was excellent, You can definitely get the citra up front and the magnum bitterness in the back. While i'm more of a hop head, I was really impressed with the malts in this one however. They complement the hops outstandingly and I presume its the rye malt which really smooths it out at the end. Wonderful mouthfeel.
At 4.1%, this session is very low abv but for the flavor it is definitely a treat. Pretty please OBH, bottle this one. Otherwise, keep in on draft year round so I can fill my growler when i pass through!
