The beer is also a nice dark chocolate black. The hard is a nice dark khaki color. The smell and taste are good. The Sumatra adds a nice sharp coffee roasted bitterness in contrast to the sweeter notes. The feel is also slightly thinner compared to the original. Go for it. It's better than the original.

From the growler, it pours dark brown with a modest head. Lots of coffee in the nose - enough to penetrate my cold dulled senses! The mouth gets the dark roast coffee with a a roast malt backbone. Yum!

Flight: little more brown, thin looking, but dark roasted coffee [botterness] dominates this brew. Must re-visit!!
