On draft in a snifter glass
Dark copper orange in color, thin head. Earthy and fruity hop aroma. Taste is very bitter, caramel malt. A little boozy. Astringent aftertaste. Sticky mouthfeel.

The beer look is decent with a clear orange but it seems to hover between cloudy and clear, which does not necessarily make it look good. The smell and taste are . . . Interesting. There is a light orange and floral hop note but the alcohol sweetness runs right over it. The beer feels creamy which is kinda unusual for something of this style.

On tap at Whole Foods in Vienna VA.
Clear amber with a good head that dissipated quickly.
Taste is very smooth for a high abv and ibu beer, well balanced pine, floral, and bitter.
Mouthfeel a little lacking.
Overall a dangerously drinkable DIPA.
