Sonic Charm delivers with a big juicy nose and a big juicy flavor. It has loads of peach, pineapple and dank pine like hops notes over a bed a sweet malt.

Can dated 4/2018:
Pours a butterscotch amber with a medium haze that will block light in a thick enough glass. A nice billowing head, one that keeps a thick collar and a fair amount of surface bubbles.
Nose is catty as well as some cereal malts, with mild tropical and citrus notes. These combine or have added to them a weird soapy/vegetal note. This didn't come out initially, but with a warmer beer it seemed to emerge as a combining of the cattiness and grain. Edit: this cattiness appeared strong in only one can. A bit more pithy, less catty impression was noted in other cans.
The taste has a muted tropical aspect, a light but distinctive lean. Specifically a combination of melon with a passion fruit/mango melange. A citrus-tinged bitterness hits by mid-taste, very reminiscent of Citra, with just a hint of cattiness. A lighter, cleaner, feel with an overall less bitter ending.
The nose is the weirdest aspect of this. It has a clean, soft feel and some haziness, but it doesn't really bring a full-flavored, creamy mouthfeel as the newer school NE IPAs. Without the nose, this would be better, but still decent, balanced DIPA.

This was clean and bold, but it did not have a lot of flavor, mostly just resin bitterness. Not bad but not impressive.

Poured a copper body with one-finger head and lace patches coming down the glass. Aroma has notes of pine, citric, earth and bits of sweet malts. Dry, crisp body with a piney, earthy, gritty feel but has a nice citric burst and there is a bit of caramel malt sweetness to take some sting off a dry beer. Nothing spectacular but pretty easy to drink and worth trying.
