A can poured into a draught glass. Pour had an impressive 1" light tan(ish) foam head with a reddish-brown body. The scent immediately wafts up with notes of the base (caramel macchiato; milk chocolate, coffee) and, of course, peppermint. Interestingly -- and impressively -- the balance of the chocolate and peppermint on the nose is impeccable and does not veer too far into peppermint-mania (like many peppermint-based stouts). Taste follows and sticks the landing incredibly well -- a perfect blend of chocolate, light notes of coffee, and peppermint all dance on the tongue. Perhaps my favorite tasting beers in multiple years. Feel heavy, smooth, and has a delightful chocolate + peppermint aftertaste. As an added bonus, at 5.7% ABV this is a very approachable and drinkable offering. Truly, an all around excellent offering.

Just a warning review....
We've had four 4-packs of this beer, and we're batting 50%
The good cans have maybe a little heavy peppermint for my tastes, but I'd say near 4.0.
The other cans are almost certainly infected. They have a semi-tart taste that takes over any caramel, coffee, peppermint, or stout flavors. My girlfriend actually checked dates on the last 4-pack which matched our last good 4pk, so it seems possibly random.
Be wary - we have not yet contacted the brewery as we only just realized the problem might be more widespread than a particular 4pk

This stout tastes like a shot of beer was poured into a glass of water. Could be a bad batch? I cannot imagine that something like this will be popular at all. Bought 4 pack will try another on a different day and post if results differ.
