Our iced coffee stout just got a little more decadent. We added strawberry and milk chocolate extract to make this beer dessert in a can. Go ahead and treat yourself, you've earned it.

For a low ABV beer, this had a surprisingly good taste. Poured with a nice foamy head, rich dark coffee color. Wasn’t overly sweet, which I liked. I could taste the strawberry and vanilla, but couldn’t pull out the coffee or caramel compared to other stouts. Nice creamy mouth feel. Another beer I discovered on my travels, not available in my home state of Michigan.

As a huge fan of fruit-centric chocolate beers (but usually in winter!), this one was right up alley. Pour had a quickly receding head of off white foam and a dark brown body with a reddish hue. Scent is around equal parts the base caramel macchiato and notes of chocolate and strawberry, although a bit more muted than I recall from previous versions of this base. Taste is a strong fit for a summery stout -- strawberry chocolate comes up first on the tongue and fades nicely into a caramel macchiato blend. Feel is medium bodied, slightly wet, with a pleasant aftertaste that blends all flavors nicely. An enjoyable offering, especially in this summer time where good stouts are harder to come by!

Poured moderately hard from a tall can into a snifter glass, forming a finger of off white head that soon fades to a ring. Deep brown body. Smell is a hint of caramel, good but very mild. I definitely taste the base caramel macchiato, but also a decent amount of strawberry and chocolate. Slightly unusual combination, but they're all there and pretty good together. Sweet, but not excessively so. Medium bodied at the most with moderate carbonation. Solid dessert stout.
