Festbier brings the spirit of Germany's Oktoberfest right here to our home in Fauquier County. Toasty and bready malt character from German malt additions dominate the aroma and flavor. This beer is more robust than a Munich helles but more subdued than a traditional Märzen.

From the pint can, it pours a clear golden amber color with a modest white head that soon diminishes to a ring and some lacing. The nose gets a very nice bready malt scent, followed by the mouth getting the same. Eminently drinkable.

L: Crystal clear gold-amber, thin white head fades in a minute or so leaving a sparse cap, bits of lace, fairly lively in the glass.
S: Spicy hops, toasted barley malt, notes of floral/fruity hops.
T: Tastes German, toasted bread malt, spicy and floral hops, slightly sweet to open, semi-dry to close.
F: Light bodied, frothy and slightly crisp.
O: Super drinkable with good flavor, very nice,
