With huge aromas and flavors of dark fruit (especially raisins), Raisin Dubbel is a complex Trappist ale. Notes of toasted bread, caramel and toffee and light alcohol blend together in a malty presentation that still finishes finishes fairly dry.

12 ounce draft pour at the brewery.
L: Plum brown and hazy, small white head fades to an everlasting ring, lively in the glass.
S: Dark sugars, light yeast and fruity esters, some dark fruit.
T: Good flavor, medium sweet, bread and dark fruit, spicy banana, Belgian yeast, fairly rich with a pretty clean finish.
F: Medium-weight body, moderately carbonated.
O: Rather easy drinking with nice malt and yeast character.
