Look: it pours brown and cler with a tan head. It has very good head retention.

Smell: It has some chocolate and caramel quality. There are some moderately low spicy hop details.

Taste: It has chocolatey and toasted flavors with the caramel being more in the background. There are some spiced elements with some dried cherry elements.

Feel: It has a medium body with a finish that is more on the sweet side.

Overall: this beer is quite flavorful with a good quality combination of malts and dark fruits.

Most excellent example of true blue American Pale Ale; Color is pleasing; aroma is nice light malty caramel; smooth silky mouthfeel - absolutely love it!

So glad we found this little brewery last month during travels. Their beer is phenomenal. Gonn try them all over a couple days here.
Appearance: No haze, super clean, brown.
Aroma: Like caramel candy and malt.
Taste: Extremely clean. Literally the best brown ale Ive tasted.
Mouthfeel: Not what you would expect. Bright and lively.

With all the great reviews I was really looking forward to this. Pours a light brown color with a small thin head. Smells of caramel notes. Taste is malty, slightly sweet and slightly acidic. I am not sure what that big fuss is about this beer as it is just an average brown ale. Don't get the hype.

Nice brew, We enjoyed our trip to visit to Broomtail. This brown ale is very easy to drink and has great caramel flavor. Very nice session beer to have several of without feeling too full (or drunk).

Had on tap. Smooth and easy drinking. Lots of breadiness, malt, nuts, and candi sugar finish. Light for the style, but still within the parameters. Kind of reminded me of a nutty monkey bread without the frosting
