Brewed with Pilsner malt and a heavy dose of flaked barley. Fermented with house Belgian yeast strain in an open top foeder that previously aged Pinot Noir. Semi-dry. Hazy blond in color. Floral. Spice, pear, pepper.

Clear golden yellow with white foam in the Stella Artois goblet. Aroma of fresh straw and a hint of lime. Crisp and tangy in the mouth with plenty of carbonation, but light body. Malty, wheaty, with a hint of sweetness and just enough bitter, yeasty edge.
Balanced, full of interest, flavorful-- but so clean and elegant. The aftertaste is that Belgian touch of dry, mineral flavor. For my taste, this is the ultimate light and blonde beer. From the 32 oz growler filled at the brewery in Bellingham.
