Brewed with large additions of wheat and flaked oats, double dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic hops, and fermented on orange, lemon, and lime zest. Feel alive!

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a very hazy, light caramel amber with a fine two finger white head with great retention and thick lacing; the aroma of pine and pineapple burst from the can on opening and is evident feet away from the glass, wow. Robust aroma of citrus hops, orange, lemon, pineapple, guava; not so much pine at the glass. Very much fruit punch forward. Flavor is pale, very mildly caramel malt, citrus hops, orange, graperfruit and lemon juice and rind, mild mixed tropical fruit. Flavor drops off somewhat into a moderately hoppy finish with dominant grapefruit and lemon rind with hints of toffee. Medium bodied with light creaminess. Man, this one burst out of the starting gate with an unbeatable aroma; I really expected a citrus/pine hop bomb. The aroma in the glass is much more citrus forward, but with very nice fresh fruit notes. It kind of finished quite a bit tamer than I expected, with good citrus rind notes, but not as robust as the smell. A pleasant entry to the hazy, unfiltered IPA carnival, but needs to be dialed in a bit in the finish, which is somewhat tame after the start.
