So this is all Crystal hops, which is a new one on me. I don't see that anyone mentions the distinct smoky taste this has. I was convinced this is a new kind of Grodziskie with smoked malt. It even has the light body and Plsner-like aromatics. Overall this is hugely quaffable. Sudsy and lush mouthfeel adds to the interest.
It starts with a modest malty sweetness. Tastes like cherry or fruit wood smoke, but light. Some orange peel in the finish, even lighter. There is just a slight bitter or astringent tang in the aftertaste. How is this an IPA? Perhaps it's some kind of inside joke, but it's quite delicious. From the 16 oz can purchased at Haggen Market. Canned date is 03/10/21 on the bottom.

Poured from 16oz tall can into a tulip. Canned 4/2/20.
Appearance: hazy golden-orange hue with a finger of frothy ivory foam atop. Lookin' good!
Smell: sweet and hoppy aroma. I get some orange, a little bit of berry, and an earthy character that I would not go so far as to call "dank". Overall, I like it.
Taste: quite sweet with an earthy, piney flavor, perhaps a bit of orange peel-type character. Bitterness is quite low; it's got a flavor profile more consistent with a West Coast IPA and the bitterness consistent with a NEIPA. An interesting beer.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good level of carbonation and a really nice creaminess, especially for the style. Very smooth; I totally dig it!
Overall: although the flavor profile isn't 100% to my taste, I do think this is an interesting and well-made beer. Definitely worth trying if you encounter it.

Served in pint glass. Poured a murky orange color with 1/4 inch of white head that had low retention and lacing.
The aroma is dominantly Crystal hops, with a light grain background 9featuring crystal malt).
The taste is the same, a mixture of fruit and grain.
The body was medium thin, and had a semi-sweet finish.
Drinkability was good, my pint was gone quickly enough. Overall, if you like the murky brews, you'll like this. If you're on the fence about the style, it still wouldn't hurt to give it a shot.
