A foeder aged, dry-hopped Golden Ale, as per the breweries description. Served in 16oz goblet. Poured a very cloudy yellow-orange color with 1/4 inch of white head that had OK retention and good lacing.
The aroma had a good grain base, a touch of wood, some gentle hops, and a slight touch of funk (to be expected as the foeder gets used more and more, and develops its own character).
The flavors matched the scents, just better developed, bolder, and with more personality.
The body was on the thin side of medium, smooth, and had a dry finish.
Drinkability was very good, I could easily sip down a couple of these. Overall, a very interesting brew. Certainly worth your time if you see it.
