can into glass
Moderate white head. Slightly hazy, light orange and amber look. SUBTLE, lemon/spiced kissed, lightly toasted malt aroma with a bit of a rose note. Medium bright, slight and a bit harsh lemony flavor with a little bit of malt, later in the taste.

Handsome amber brew with exuberant foam that sticks to the Stout glass. Lush and slushy mouthfeel.Remarkably aromatic with straw, yellow cake, and pine, with a powerful nose of fresh sawn cedar. Hops are leafy but clean. Flavors of warm malt with walnuts. Just a touch of resiny bitterness in the aftertaste.
This might be my favorite Oktoberfest style beer of 2021. Just the aroma and the sudsy mouthfeel transports you to the Biergarten under the linden trees. Quaffable, but you want to savor every sip. From the 16 oz can purchased at Community Coop. Dated 09/14/21 on the bottom.

Pours a gorgeous copper color with a little bit of haze and a creamy white head that laces the glass nicely. The nose has caramel and toffee malt notes as expected and a floral, fruity hop note as NOT expected. Wow.
The taste is a really nice balance between the caramel/toffee malt flavors and the fruity/floral hop flavors - and all crammed into a 5.8% ABV beer that is the very definition of “quaffable.”
I could literally drink this beer until it came out my ears. Excellent stuff, IMHO.

16 oz. can from Lifesource Natural Grocers in Salem OR
$4
Lovely simple artwork on can.
Pours a slightly hazy amber..with a really good looking thick beige head.
Aroma caramel malts and some grassy hop in the back. Simple. Classic.
Taste caramel, then some dark autumnal dried fruits , Then a small dose of hop in the end.
Mouth feel is medium for the style and carbonation is good. Dryish finish helps with drink-ability.
Overall a nice Fest ..seems to be a cross between the old style Marzen and the new style lighter fest bier.

Look: Opaque amber in color with a nice looking eggshell colored head that billows up before settling to a lid on top, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Toffee, melanoidin, freshly baked bread, earthy and floral hops, and some light fruity notes reminiscent of candied dried fruit
Taste: Huge bready hit up front with toffee, melanoidin, and fruitiness in tow as well. The floral hops kick in right after and are much more present than the earthy notes I got in the nose. Finishes very clean and with a soft crispness
Mouthfeel: Smooth leaning towards silky, full bodied, medium-high carbonation, and very clean throughout, especially on the finish
Overall: Delicious. I’ve only had a beer or two ever from these folks so when I spotted this the other day, jumped on a single. Very well-made and hits all the right Festbier notes for me, but I also really enjoyed the slight fruity note present. I’m not sure if that was from the yeast, hops, or something during fermentation but it worked well and added a unique touch. Recommended

16oz can (dated 9/16/20) poured into 14oz teku. poured a clean, clear light mahogany color with an inch of off-white head that had good retention, and decent lacing.
The aroma was softly sweet malts and gentle, floral hops.
same on the tongue, just better defined.
The body was smooth, even, clean, and had a somewhat dry finish.
Drinkability was very good, I can see grabbing moar of these.
Overall, a very nice example of the style. A must grab if you see it.
