Hazy pour, not quite a murk-bomb. Nose is piney and lemon peel, no doubt from the Citra hops. Upfront bitterness is right there, just a few notches from becoming harsh. Feel is good, smooth, lots of carbonation to support a very long finish. We are not big fans of hazy beers, but this one is worth having.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours an nearly opaque hazy golden orange with a fine, two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing; looks nice. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and dank hops, orange, grapefruit and some catty dankness; a touch of green onion. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and dank hops, orange, lemon, grapefruit, some light stone fruit and a little dankness in the finish; Solid burst of citrus rind bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess, nice mouth feel. Well, this one took my by surprise. As I poured this quite murky IPA, I was thinking, I sure with they would mention hazy on the can so I can avoid low bitterness, NE style ones. Well, I'm glad they didn't, because this is one of the hazies that hit on all cylinders for me. Nice, long lived head, great Citra fresh hop aroma, fine mouth feel and best of all, a satisfying amount of bitterness in the finish. If all hazy IPAs were like this, I'd be a fan. I'm also pleasant surprised to find a Citra single hop with more than normal complexity. I love Citra in hop mixtures, but sometimes it's a bit simple alone. This had great character. So thanks Wander, this was a fine surprise and a great fresh hop. Well done.

Appearance is fairly hazy light amber with long-lasting foam. Mouthfeel is lush and sudsy. Aroma is deep peach and straw with a hint of grapefruit. Tastes malty and fairly sweet with a tangy finish. There's a slight candied fruit flavor along with the peach, followed by the citrus and hoppy darkness.
Overall, the flavors are inviting, the sweet note balances the modestly bitter hops, and it invites yet another gulp. From the 16 oz can. Dated 09/27/22. This has been around for a couple years and I was not so taken with the 2021 version, but this is quite delightful.
