This is really an indictment of the entire craft beer industry. And no one will admit it's a hazy or juicy yeast monster. Not an American double IPA. You laughed, you cried, you kissed six bucks goodbye. From the 16 oz can purchased at The Cave in Kirkland. Dated 02/01 presumably 2022.
Hazy amberish brew with plenty of foam in the Belle-Vue Gueuze glass. Sharp and spritzy mouthfeel. Hugely fruity aroma with that very old citrus smell, you know the soft ones that got left in the lunchbag for a couple months. Unbelievably sweet. I don't know what they are doing with yeast these days or how they get this kind of residual sugar. Or the astounding acidity. Or WTF is this orange juice obsession?

16oz can (dated 2/1/22, I think. The print is very faint) poured into 16oz tulip. Poured a solid orange color the color of orange juice with pulp. It had an inch of white head that had very good retention and lacing.
The aroma was as expected of the murkbombs; no grain, low yeast, stale froot loops. Same on the tongue.
The body was the usual, smooth and light of the style, but the finish was a touch drier. Drinkability was OK, but it's one-and-done for me. Overall, another average murkbomb.
