Pours a clear amber with exuberant foam in the tall Belle-Vue glass. Substantial malty body and plenty of spritz. For a couple of sips this seems like less of a hop show-off brew, but it reveals itself to be quite stuffed with resins and pine. Interesting dark fruit taste is appealing but it goes over the falls into the bitter whirlpool. This could be so good but it's too much of a good thing. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station, dated 3/22/22.

16oz can (dated 3/22/22) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a very cloudy burnt orange color with2/3 inch of white head that had moderate retention and lacing.
The aroma was hop-forward, a blend of froot, citrus, and pine. There was a very light grain aspect as well.
Very similar on the tongue, with the grapefruit hop aspect being dominant. The frooty hops seemed to be more at the back of the palate.
The body was fairly typical for the style; medium, mostly smooth with a touch of coarseness, and a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was good, a beer you could have a couple of.
Overall, a pretty solid and enjoyable beer. worth a shot if you see it.
