16oz tallboy can received courtesy of BBThunderbolt. Apparently I am the first to review it. Apparently it was brewed with Amarillo hops. The stamp on the bottom of the can seems to indicate it was canned on May 15, 2022.
Poured into a Teku, this was a mostly hazy apricot amber color, with a somewhat tight off-white head. Decent lace.
Hop scent was given off that resembled mango, melon and citrus fruit, in pretty much that order, and rather muted.
Fairly soft, fruity, juicy flavor to this.
Body is somewhere between light and medium. Fairly soft mouth feel, slightly oily.
A hazy joocer. It says NEIPA on it but this is a typical PNW juicy attempt at a hazy. Better balanced than some like this, it's quite drinkable, especially right now after work on a hot evening. It's just not terribly distinctive. Thanks, Terry!
