Pours a crystal clear amber with adequate foam in the chalice. Light grainy aroma with straw and the slightest hint of smoke. Effervescent body and appealing aroma in the nose. A touch of apple flavor along with a warm malty taste. Slightly sweet with a scratch of bitterness in the aftertaste. Highly gulpable and less highly flavored than typical smoked beers. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 12/28/22.
