A solid English style brown ale. Not overly hopped, just good.
A clear, reddish-brown color, light tan head. Retention is decent, lace is missing.
Smell is roasted malt, a hint of apples(?), and some caramel.
Taste is malty, hint of hop, touch of caramel and an apple/herbal note.
Medium bodied, light effervescence. Reasonably clean finish.
