Bought at beervana, drinking in my hotel room out of a small water glass, reviewing on my phone
A: clear golden color with a thin white head
S: malty sweetness, no obvious hops
T: very clean bready malts, hops very much in the back, a little alcohol heat, hops are there, but mostly as bittering vs. flavor. Tastes like what I imagine would happen if pilsner malt was boiled for a couple hours.
M: not crisp, but not thick or cloying, the tingly bubbles help dry it out a little.
O: picture a German style barley wine as a lager, definitely not a doppelbock and not at all like an IPL. A great nightcap. Well worth trying if you like big beers and are looking for something different.

Hazy amber golden color with a thick one finger head with good retention.
Sweet malty aroma with notes of pine, honey and red fruits.
Flavor of herbal and perfumy hops, maple syrup, pine, tea bags, and plums soaked in liquor. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Full body with medium carbonation. Alcohol of 9% abv is well hidden.
Quite sweet and almost liquorish beer, being hoppy and malty, but still it didn't make the extremes to balance themselves, sugar won. Worth trying, though.
