Pours cloudy straw into a glass from a bottle. White head is foamy, two - three fingers high, a little sparse and creamy. Sudsy lacing is left on the glass.
Aroma is mild; some light citrus, pale malts, a little grass, and floral hops. Flavour is as you'd expect, like a nice citrusy, biscuity lager. Some nice balanced flavours are coming from this beer, almost like a Pils with lime. It doesn't once go overboard with the lime, extracting the freshness and the flavour without the water or tartness; the middle palate receives some nice grainy biscuity flavours which beautifully blend with the fruit just enough to keep this beer very light, and crisp. Some nice aromatic hops appear on the finish, but again, so finely that the bitterness just rolls into view like it was there all along.
Mouthfeel is light, crisp, silky, and just slightly tingly. Carbonation is subtle and no hint of drying.
Very pleasantly surprised by this IPA; I thought I was going to get a typical Chilean lager-style beer but this is so balanced, refreshing, sessionable and moreish. I could easily go for more of these.
